It comes with great sadness to hear the passing of Brian, a friend, a teammate with the Toledo Goaldiggers, and a great family man. We were fortunate to share a Turner Cup championship in 1982-83 and along with that , some tremendous memories. It's hard to think of a day where Brian wasn't upbeat and happy, forever smiling and those are the memories that we will cherish. To Laura and all family members, Our deepest condolences as we honor his life and may our prayers be with you. Sincerely, Claude and Lynda Noel

Laura and family i was deeply sad to hear of Brian's sudden passing. Brian and i were great friends going up in Barrie. We played all of our minor hockey together and even played on the same line. Brian was always the captain of our teams , so well respected. Later we attended the same high school. I have so many great memories of Brian, to many to mention. My deepest condolences to you and your boys as well as Gerry , Steve and there families. R.I.P. my old friend. Colin

I was the trainer for the Oshawa generals when Brian arrived for training camp in Oshawa. He played on a line that was one of the best in the OHL at that time. The line consisted of Ric Middleton, Bill Lochead and Brian. He wore the General sweater with pride. He was well liked and a great teammate. Once a General always a General. My condolences goes out to his wife and family. RIP. Wayne Daniels (former trainer and general manager, Oshawa Generals)
